Hi Mike

As for the Disk 2 thing - Edmund or Mike explained that awhile ago - apparently something was brought into the basic package from the more advanced options.

Yes - it was horrible. I have been trying to install it for a week. First time it got stuck at about 4% and didn't move for 6 hours. Cancelled and tried again the next day and got the same. Tried every day for 3 days in a row with the same problem. Finally just today when I cancelled again I was asked if I wanted to delete the previous partial download. Which I did and then it worked but did take about 90 minutes. Install was fast once the download finished. I also had to "insert Disk 2" at one point from the original install media to get the service pack to finish.

Subject: [WDSCI-L] RDI 9.0.1 service pack download

Has anyone experienced EXTREMELY slow download speeds when downloading the 9.0.1 service pack? My PC has been downloading it for about 45 minutes and isn't even halfway done. I don't know if it is an IBM problem, or a local network issue.

Thank you,

Doug
