Ah, that sounds interesting for changing/enhancing, thanks!

In this case I'm stealing code to create new function so I'm
not seeing how compare works that well . . .

You might want to consider the "Compare with" "Each other" functionality in RSE - it puts a side-by-side display with navigation for walking the changes. Just select the before and after members, right-click, and see the "Compare with" item.

Another option is when you are in an edit window, go to the Edit menu option, then look for the "Compare..." tool there - it'll prompt you to enter another member, so go look for it - the result is a display in that window of RED and YELLOW - the former is deleted stuff, the latter is added stuff. A right-click there has options for navigating the changes.

RDi version 9.0.0.1

first install of 9.0.1 fix pack failed and have yet to make 2nd attempt

I had three members open, one in update.

I was copying code from the two browse mbrs,
dragging one then the other to the right so I could
view both "update" and "copy from" mbrs

Then I did a drag-right of a browse mbr which somehow
closed the mbr (I have problems using a mouse).

Don't know exactly what I did, but I saw the screen "flash"

I attempt to re-open the member . . . nothing happens ???

I close/re-open RDi still cannot open that source mbr ???

source mbr does exist, is un-changed and I can open any
other member ?
