I did not have this problem with RDP 8.0. And I have the same PC, and the Windows 7, nothing has changed... Except I have upgraded to RDi 9.0.

I'm pretty much out of suggestions. There is something different
between your Win7 and mine; I don't know enough about PCs to be more
helpful. Call it in to IBM - don't we get a year of support with the
purchase price?

I keep my workspace in my documents, which is backed up on the network. It is also the IBM default. I know other have suggested elsewhere, but I don't change system defaults, unless I have a good reason to do so. <Big smile>

If 'My Documents' is local to your PC and there's an automated backup
that runs and synch it to the network, that's probably OK. Unless maybe
the backup and RDi are trying to access the workspace at the same time...

If 'My Documents' is actually located off on a network drive, then there
are known performance issues. I never tried that; perhaps as a test you
can create a new local workspace and see if the symptoms change.
