Gary,

That's a setting in Microsoft's Remote Desktop Connection. Too many RDP acronyms! Or is it too many names for our IDE (WDSC, RDi, RDP)?

HTH,
Matt

In your RDP settings under the Local Resources tab, what is your Keyboard - Allow Windows key combinations setting? I have mine set for "Only when using the full screen". I usually have my RDP session up in full screen on my other monitor.

Subject: [WDSCI-L] Shortcut keys do NOT work in RDI 9.0.0.1 via Remote-Desktop

Hi,

It looks like I am going to remote be working from home for a week or so...

My set up is this:

Plug in Laptop on Dinner Table, remote in from my Desktop in my office. I do not have a docking station at home. And my home computer has dual screen monitors! Both a 24 & 22 inch monitors....

I am connection to my office using VPN via Sonicwall Netextender. And then remote desktop to my laptop.

Normally, all works very well....

The mouse works flawlessly, but I !#@$!@# HATE using my mouse!!!

Anyway, my shortcut keys do NOT work! But using the mouse works okay. Very strange....

Has anyone know how to get the shortcut keys to work in Remote Desktop and VPN? This seems to be only a problem inside RDI 9.0.0.1 only...

It figures, I normally hate working from home, but I might be stuck working at home for a while...

Long story short, they are reconfiguring the office cubicle layouts. And working from home is the easy work around...
