Subject: [WDSCI-L] Viewing /COPY members in RDP 9.
Sent by: wdsci-l-bounces@xxxxxxxxxxxx

If I click on a /COPY line, then right click I sometime get a pop up
menu that contains a "/COPY Member" entry with Edit and Browse entries.
This is a rather nice feature, but as far as I can tell, I have to
right click on the "P" in the /COPY. Nope, right clicking on any "p" or
"P" on the line works. Nope, sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't.
By now I'm thoroughly confused...

After experimentation, it appears that if you have any text selected,
right clicking bring up one menu (without the /COPY Member option), but
if you have no text selected, you get a different menu (with the /COPY
option.) Seems like I twitch when I click on a line and accidentally
select the character under the cursor.

Clicking Source on the menu while on a /COPY line also brings up a menu
with /COPY Member in it. But if I browse the member, then close it and
come back to the original member i was looking at, click Source on the
menu gives a /COPY Member entry, but the Edit and Browse on the sub-menu
are grayed out. Refreshing the outline seems to bring back Edit and
Browse, but I'm beginning to second guess my self.

Am I imagining things at the end of a long week?

Sam
