Yes I get that now. I didn't get earlier that the default profile was
special, in that it held some global objects for the other profiles you
create. I managed to corrupt my default profile because I didn't realize I
needed to preserve it so well, so I had to start a new workspace. I think
I was attempting to move filter groups from the default, which left me with
java pointer errors when doing anything in the default, so I won't be doing
that again.

When I select "Work with Compile commands" there is a drop down at the top
of the window listing all the profiles I have setup, and I can change the
profile there. Have you got that? If not then perhaps check the "Team" view
in the Remote Systems Explorer perspective, right-click the *missing*
profiles and see if they say "Make Active"/"Make Inactive". The default
profile can not be made inactive, but I think the others are inactive by
default when you create them.

My issue is that I can't use the "Work with Compile Commands" dialog if I'm
working with a profile I've either created or duplicated from the default.
It really isn't a big deal, since I don't want to specify different user
commands or compile commands by profile, but it was a point of confusion
when the "Work with Compile Commands" dialog came up blank for any profile
but the default.

Compile commands are stored as a "property set" off of the parent profile.
The Team View does not offer any way of editing the commands directly in
the profile. Commands are edited using the "Work with Compile Commands"
action on the object subsystem or on a source member.

IBM documentation seems to indicate that the IBM Compile Commands are
associated with a "Profile". If I duplicate a profile in the Team view, I
am unable to edit the Compile Commands in that profile. It seems to be
treated as either a global property, or as a child to the parent profile.
How are compile commands really setup in relation to the profile.
