As someone who remembers when SEU was no more reliable than RDi is (back on the S/38), I just shake my head at things like this.  Would these people be happier with dumb terminals than they are with PCs?

I try to push Rational Developer to my fellow Developers. And sadly, with these stability issues, it SOURS them on RDP/RDI immediately....

A few have already gone back to "RELIABLE" SEU. Because they encounter one little glitch, and I get the "See that is why I don't use it..."
<Big Frown>

It used to be that IBM was "Trailing Edge Technology", it wasn't released until it was reliable.
(In General...)

For now, I have gone back to RDP 8, because I don't have all these little issues. It seems to be mostly little issue with Eclipse 4.2, rather than RDI.

I for one refuse to go back SEU, except for little test programs under 10-lines of code...
<LOL> I still use SEU about 1% of the time... <grin>
