Hi Rick,

Thanks for finding the time to reply to this.

Do you know if there are any plans to make it available? I am going to be embarking on a complete rewrite of one of our most complicated programs and any tools I can find to help me understand to current functionality would be very helpful.

If anyone else knows of any Cobol tools that aid the visualisation/navigation of massive Cobol programs I'd appreciate a heads up.

Best regards,

Hi Mark,

When the enhancement was done for the COBOL Outline view in 8.5.1, it was
done by refactoring some of the AIX COBOL tools to work for IBM i as well.
Clearly there are some plugin dependencies that are bringing in this view
as well. Currently this view is not usable for IBM i.

Hi,

I was exploring the new RDi 9 and found a view under COBOL called Perform
Hierarchy but can't work out how to use it.

Has anyone used this function or knows how to use it?
