You should be able to install it from within RDi v9.0....

start RDi. Select Help -> Install New Software
In the "work with:" field, enter the location where the RSE plugins are
already installed.
Typically this is "C:\Program Files (x86)\SoftLanding\RSE Extensions\eclipse
Be sure to also uncheck the "Group items by category" checkbox.
You should see the SoftLanding Extensions to RSE listed.
Select it and follow along the installation wizard.

(This is assuming you've already run the rse_extensions_75.exe at some
point which loaded these onto your system)

The version of the Ration Developer is blank. I also ran the install "As
Administrator". I check what is there, but that does not make a
difference. By the way, this is the "free" version, as we're no longer a
Softlanding customer. I suspect the issue is that I installed the 64 bit
version of RDi, which is in Program Files, but this version of the
extensions is looking in Program Files(x86).

Try checking your version of the Ration Developer, and that should then
work

As I think about this, I think there was a manual installation step
required to get this to work in 8.5. Does anyone know what this was? I
think it required copying some of the .jar files into the RDi installation,
but I don't remember what to where.

I wasn't able to get the free plug-in V7.5 to work with RDi 9.0. We're
using the 64 bit version of RDi in case that makes a difference. Is your
setup similar, and did they work for you? My first indication of a
possible problem, was that during install, it tried to identify what
version of RDi I was on, and it was just a blank beside the check box.

Hi,

I have been a user of SoftLanding/Turnover for over 20-years. This is a 3rd
party change management tool. The Plug-in for RDP 7.5 works great on RDi
9.0 with no problems!

I do NOT work for Softlanding/Turnover, just a very satisfied user of their
software package. Which I have used in WDSC 6.0/7.0 RDi 7.5/7.6 and RDP
8.0/8.5. And now inside of RDi 9.0

And as other have already mentioned, I have used their Free RSE plugs-in
for viewing spool files. Which I love over the default.
