Well, I thought I had the cause, but then RDP crashed during a verify, and when I opened it again, I couldn't reproduce the issue. I've passed along the log file to IBM.

My situation appears to be a bit different. I tried refreshing the outline manually and that didn't help. In addition, I had once been able to use content assist in said source, but then later cannot.

I appreciate the feedback, and it's good to know you entered it an APAR as well.

I reported the same issue but subsequently discovered that it seemed to happen when I opened any source member for the first time in 8.5.1. It appeared that the outline view was not populated so the data for Content Assist was not available. When I refreshed the outline view Content Assist worked as expected. I did not have to close the source and re-open it.

Has anyone else been having an issue where content-assist via ctrl-space stops working after applying the 8.5.1 Fixpack?

I have an APAR open to report the problem, but I haven't been able to figure out what's causing it to happen. The work around is to close the source and re-open it.

If anyone's able to reproduce this issue, please let me know so I can update the APAR so IBM can fix it.

Thanks,
