Yes Edmund. Already voted for!

I get overwhelmed with the number of fields in the fields list, making it
_almost_ useless. Under the same filtering, maybe only show the fields
that are not listed under the individual files, since they are shown in two
places currently.

While I am dreaming - I would like to click, or double click on a field,
and have the outline show me that field selected, so I can see where else
in the program it is used. I know I can do a find all for the text and get
similar result, but then I don't see the context in which the field is used.

Jim, I assume that you have already voted for Kurt's RFE which is asking

I think I prefer all indicators to be in the save place, under indicators,
but would support an option as to where they are displayed.

What I would like more is an option is to display in the field list, only
those fields in use in the program. Something like Hide/Show inactive
fields. This is already being done with program indicators. Only the ones
in use or defined are being displayed.

Both places is an option, but won't that be too cluttered?
Also a preference would start to clutter up up the preferences pages if
we
get this detailed.

It is all possible, but it would nice if we just made a good clean
decision
of what is best. Let me know your preferences. If it is really split
then
we will have to go with a compromise solution. I was getting feedback,
that we made a big mistake putting Named Indicators under Indicators to
start with since they are really fields and much more in common with
other
named fields, than they do with the pre-defined indicators. How do you
feel? Is that a true statement from your perspective.

Or, can we have an option on where they're placed...a preference setting?

Edmund,
Can we have them in both places?

Ken's question about where in the Outline view to find named indicators
has
stirred things up a bit.

We would like to know if there is a strong preference to move Named
indicators under the Fields heading so that all fields can be found in
one
place and only predefined indicator usage being shown under the
Indicators
heading.
On the other hand would anyone be upset about not finding the Named
indicators under the Indicators heading any more?

IBM is listening.
