Hi John,
After I corrected all of the validation errors and was able to get a clean
comile on the program, I was able to refresh the outline view with no
problems.

I am still using RDP 8.0.3.

Jeff, if you still have a version of the source that crashed RDP, you
should submit a PMR.

The static RPGLE Outline view calls the program verifier to analyze the
source member for its contents when you click on the outline view refresh.
The program verifier is in a native code DLL, and if it gets a null pointer
error, it crashes the JVM running the RDP workbench.
(And there aren't any messages why in the metadata log.)

Support needs to analyze the cause of the null pointer error, and fix it in
the program verifier, to prevent it from occurring
