As a stop gap measure, we are using Google's custom search engine service.

It appears that the raw code can be found here:

But, I admit, I don't have the knowledge or skills to build the plug-in from these files.

Which kind of begs the question Peter - why don't you upgrade to 7.5? It is a lot faster and more stable if I remember correctly.
