Hi Paul,

Unfortunately adding the update site only seems to work for 7.5 and higher.

For 7.0 the instructions clearly state that you have to download a zip file, but I can't find that zip file anywhere.

Thanks anyway,

The information you want for installation is on the plugin.midrange.com website. In its simplest form, just add http://rse.midrange.com to the Eclipse update sites and the plug-in will be available for install.

I can't remember how to enter the update site on earlier versions of the tool (I'm on v8.5), but I seem to remember there was little difference in the most recent versions. There is an "Add" option at the top of the "Install new plugins" option on the Help menu which allows you to enter the rse.midrange.com site to the list. Make sure "group by category" is not ticked, select the new update site you've entered and it should all work from there. Ignore any "errors" about unsigned code, as (in my experience) all eclipse plugins give up that same error.

Paul,

Those are the instructions for RDi 7.5+, they don't work for me (using 7.0).

I get "No features found on the selected site(s). Choose a different site or site category"'.

The instructions for WDSC 7.0 and RDi 7.1 say:

1. Unzip the .zip file
2. Go into Rational and click on Help/Software updates/Find and Install
3. Click on "Search for new features to install" and click next
4. Click on "New local site"
5. Navigate to the folder where you unzip the zip file and click OK
6. Then install

I searched the google code site and the plugin.midrange.com site, but cannot seem to find the .zip file.

Anyone know where it's hiding?

Thanks,
