I just re-read the exception. Is the message correct? Your event file is in QSYS? Try changing your user profile to have a *CURLIB that is one of your libraries and see if that makes a difference. You may need to restart RDi...

I still consider myself a new user of RDI.

today I wanted to search QRPGSRC to see all the programs that use a
file. I right clicked on the source file QRPGSRC remote system
exploxer and entered the file name.

I got this error:

com.ibm.etools.iseries.subsystems.qsys.api.QSYSEncapsulatedException:
/QSYS.LIB/QSYS.LIB/EVFEVENT.FILE/EVFEVENT.MBR: Object in library QSYS
specified incorrectly.

This is my version of RDI:
IBM Rational Developer for Power Systems Software
5724-Y99, 5733-RDG, 5733-RDH, 5733-RDJ, 5733-RDC
Licensed Materials - Property of IBM

Version: 8.0.3

I'm guessing this is something I should call IBM support on, but I
thought I'd throw it out here.
