Hi Eric,
Thanks for the feedback.
Unfortunatly, I am not authorized to submit PMR's for my company.

Hi Eric,
Yes, almost all my fields are referenced to a field refernece file.
I am currently using RDP 8.0.3.1.

Do you have any suggestions?

Thanks,

Hi Jeff,

By any chance, are you using a lot of database references in that
printer
file?
We addressed a performance issue with using database references from
display and printer files as part of a fix for APAR SE49462, so I'm
wondering if that's the issue you're hitting. You can pick up this fix
in
either RD Power 8.0.3.1 or 8.5.

All,
Using RDP 8.0.3.
When editing DDS Source for a print file using the LPEX editor, after
changing a line, it often pauses for up to 5 seconds before allowing me
to
proceed, This has always been occuring, but today I had to make a large
number of changes, including commenting out a number of fields. The
pause
after I do anything on the line, and I sometimes have to wait unitl it
returns control before I can make all of the needed changes for a line.
Is there some setting I can use to cause it to work like the RPG or CL
parsers?

Thanks,
