Thanks Paul,

As always, stand-alone code examples that exhibit the behaviour in a new
clean workspace are always "the best ever" for us to work with to debug
issues with.

There are some known problems with the live outline that are already being
worked on https://www-304.ibm.com/support/entdocview.wss?uid=swg1SE51958

And before y'all get excited and send us a lot of stuff next week or get
concerned about why you might not have seen an update to your SR's we
(Eric, Edmund & I) are all away for a long weekend Monday and Tuesday
(July 2 & 3), sorry.

All the best, Mike

One more thing. I have turned off Active Outline and am now using the old
outline process. This is working ok.
TO Eric, Edmund, and Mike at IBM.ca; If I can be of help to you ... I will
be glad to help out in any way I can in getting the active outline issues
cleared up.

Addendum.
I have now cleared all cache files. I reopened the source code. I
reopened the outline. I now have no outline.
I cannot get an outline to display.
.... Friday afternoon at 4:32 pm.
Time to go home maybe?

Outline view not showing changes to files on the IBM i. I was under the
impression the Verify with Cache Refresh would bring in the changes.

I am updating RPG source code (RPGLE) and have added a file to the File
specs and updated a display file record format with more fields.
The new file and the changed file have been recompiled on the I. I was
led to believe that if I go to Source>Verify (With Prompt) and click on
Cache>Refresh Cache and click on the 'Apply' button and then click OK that
my code would be Verified (which does occur) AND my outline would reflect
the new files. (This has not happened.) I have also them clicked 'Refresh
View' on the outline - this still has not helped.
The new file that I added to file specs is not in the outline and the
changes to my display file are also not there.

Did I misunderstand?

Mu next step is to clear the IBM i cache in the preferences. I know that
doing this and then refreshing the outline will work.

Paul
