Sounds like the version you're on still has the same occasional issue with not refreshing the cache properly that I encounter from time to time in WDSCi 7.
The simple cure is to clear the cache so it rebuilds it from scratch. The annoying thing is that this clears everything, so to fix one incorrect file you have to live with the time it takes to redo the caches for all the other files in this program and every other program you're working with.

To clear it, go to Window => Preferences, enter cache in the filter, select the page for the i cache (it's Remote Systems/iSeries/Cache in WDSCi, but IBM may have renamed it in your version), and then click the Clear Cache button. Your next refresh should rebuild the cache with the correct info for your file.

Thanks Gary for your suggestion.

I did refresh the cache twice with partial success. The list of fields was updated the second time I tried it but there are still two record formats appearing in the outline which no longer exist in the display file source.
