Everyone here at my work that uses screen designer has a top draw (as
its called) with the items "Select" (the default) and "Marquee" (the
rope)
May be you were allowed to close that draw and now it will not appear
for you. I have four drawers, unnamed, Records, Fields and Constants.
Go here and see the Screen Designer in action and you can glimps a
picture of the palette.

Matt, I don't have an unnamed folder at the top. "Records" appears at
the very top of the view, right below the "Palette" tab.
