Hi Alita,

The unthinkable has happened as this may be a (gasp!) bug. ;)

I have made sure that the author knows of it, but...

Eric -

I did that as follows:

And when I went to look at it, it looks like it should filter to just
OutQ ALITAPRT, but it doesn't.

When I expand the ALITAPRT TEST spool file filter it shows reports from
all my OutQ's

I must have a preference set wrong or something.

Alita

Alita,

If you right click on the "IBM i Spooled Files" icon, then select "New"
"Spooled file filter"

You should be able to create as many filters as you need.

Subject: [WDSCI-L] Spooled File Filter to specific Output Queue

I'm on RSE Version 8.0.3, and trying to set up a new Spool File filter
to go to a specific OutQ, and it doesn't seem to be filtering on that
OutQ. I get all the reports generated by me (*current) user, but I'd
like to set up a filter for each specific OutQ I send reports to. I've
gone into the Change Job Filter and specified the OutQ name, but it
doesn't filter it by that OutQ. When I try putting in the OutQ Name and
the OutQ Library, it replaces the OutQ name with the library field???

Any specific OutQ filter name that I put in results in finding all the
reports I've generated in all Output Queue's.

Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks,

Alita Svaty, FLMI
