For one, member/object text does not show up unless you highlight the member/object and then only at the bottom of the screen and only one object
For two, any way you cut it, RDP is way slower than PDM
For three, you _have to_ have PC attached with the appropriate stuff, whereas with PDM you can just use a green screen
For Four, go ahead and try using RDP when the system is either in a restricted state or partially shut down.
For five, options ( particularly the ones I make up ) and F13 Repeat saves lots of time and customer money.

I could go on but I don't need to.

Don't get me wrong, I use RDP constantly, and like it, but it does not replace PDM even by a small margin....

Now if you want to compare SEU to RDP _editors_ there is no match, RDP wins hands down.

What Sean was correctly stating is you cannot compare RDP Remote Systems to PDM favorably

With the exception of compare/merge, what do you find irreplaceable in PDM?

Color coding and more lines of code are enough for me to switch.
Outline mode and search and open seal the deal. The SDA replacement
works quite well. Debugging rocks.

Unless you run regularly over a very slow speed is not an issue. I'm
puzzled.
