Jim, I had the same problem when I inbinded(?...:-)). I then rebinded
Ctrl+Shift+A to Open a Member and also specified "In Windows" as many
others have mentioned.

You can disable the plug-in artifact option so that you go directly to open
a new member. In WDSC .. Under >Preferences>Keys you can sort by Key
Sequence and highlight the key combo you want to remove and click edit and
then click remove.
