I am unsure of how to associate a spool file with a text editor. There is
no extension for a spool file.
The spool file is simply called 'PR230' or 'SMC120' (These are program
compile listings). Under the file extensions I cannot assign a text editor,
or any editor, for a blank extension.
Can you give me a little more to go on?

I do not currently have the soft landing extension but you have have a
missing or incorrect setup in the file associations section of the
preferences.

These are compile listings. Nothing special about them.

The last time someone had this problem, they were trying to display an
IPDS or AFP printer file in the text editor, which it doesn't support.
Only SCS printer files can be opened in the text editor. Would you
please check that?

In WDSC 7.0, in RSE, I have been able to right click on a spool file
and select 'Open With Text Editor' this has always worked. Now it is
not working. Does anyone know how I can fix this issue?
