Hello:

I'm bumping into issues trying to split lines of fixed format C-spec
extended factor 2 (I've recently moved to this tool from CODE/400).

In CODE I would select and cut what I wanted to split to the next
line. I would hit enter (I had "repeat previous specification type"
enabled) and I would position my cursor at the point I wanted to start
the paste. It worked well!

I tried to do this with RDp but I only get the first 14 characters of
my selection to paste.

As I typed this I realized that I could call up the Source Prompter
and change the Line Type and paste into the prompter but this slows me
down.

What I think is happening is that the parser thinks my newly inserted
line is 'C: Calculation' and limiting my paste to the length of
standard factor 2.

To resolve the issue, I would like the inserted line to default to
either 'C: Calculation, Extended Factor 2' or 'C: Calculation, Factor
2 Continuation'.

Does anyone know of workarounds for this that don't involve the Source Prompter?

Thanks!

John
