Jon,

You might try clicking on the drop down menu arrow in the far right of the Remote Shell view. From there select your connection. I have a similar issue using the iSeries command view. The command prompt is grayed out until I select a connection.

I'm trying to run some shell commands from RDP (8.0.3) but although the
shell
dialog appears the command area remains grayed out - which makes it kinda
tough to enter commands!

Anyone else seeing this or got any ideas on what might be causing it.
