Hi Jon,

I don't remember that feature being in WDSCi/RDi/RDP, but I needed it a while back and the XSD.EXE program comes free with the Windows SDK from Microsoft. It is probably not what you want to hear, but maybe you can associate that as an external tool within RDP? It works for me.

Regards,
Paul.

Subject: [WDSCI-L] xsd/dtd generation

I could have sworn that a year or tow ago that I was able to generate schemas from an XML document using the XML tooling in RDi/RDP. Haven't needed to do it for a while and today when I went looking for it I could find no trace of it.

I have the xml editing etc. enabled and it works fine - so is this another thing that IBM have moved to another pay-for component or am I just mis-membering and it was only part of WDSC Advanced or something?
