Thanks Matt,
Very clever!

I was going to create a filter with a Rexx macro that would join my
cross reference tool's output to DSPOBJD (for the last used date) but it
seemed like more work than I wanted to get into for something I've
wanted to do once in 10 years.

For anyone finding this in the archives, it is possible to create a WDSC
7.0 filter with a program by writing to
C:\buck\wdsc7\RemoteSystemsConnections\MYUSER\Filters\ibm.files400\FilterPool_MYFILTERPOOL\MYFILTER.xmi

limit the search if you might have opened one of the "non-relevant"
members before.

Thanks, Matt

Subject: [WDSCI-L] Limit search scope to open members?

I have a situation I never ran into before. We are using a cross
reference tool to analyse some changes to a file. out of a hundred or
so RPG programs, only two dozen or so are in active use. They're open
in my WDSC 7.0.0.8 right now, and I want to search for a particular
subroutine name in these open members. Searching the unused programs is
just going to cause extra work.

Is there a way to limit the search scope to only the currently opened
members?
