Fast views are my friend. The beauty of Eclipse is the ability to tailor your perspective, and then to further customize it by making some views always available and some as fast views. The last thing is then attaching often-used commands to keystrokes and mouse events.

Robert,

Michael (Koester, that is--not me) hit this exactly. When you right-click on your program, module, or procedure the short-cut menu displays an option 'Debug(Service Entry)'. Under this there should be two entries: 'Set Service Entry Point' and 'Show View'. If you select 'Show View', the 'iSeries Service Entry Points' view opens. You can right-click on the tab for this view and select 'Fast View'. This will allow you to dock the view (like minimizing a window) where it will appear as a small icon on the edge of your screen. You can click on the icon and to restore the view where you can right-click on the entry for your program to select 'Refresh'. I have the service entry view open as a fast view in all my perspectives. It's a little easier than opening the Remote Systems view and drilling down to the program. I personally find it a lot quicker.
