Out of curiosity, does the modified source member still exist in your
workspace?

Examine
C:\_yourWorkspaceLocation_\RemoteSystemsTempFiles\_yourSystem_\QSYS.LIB\.....
then dig down through there.

Kurt,

I don't think I've seen that behavior, but in general, the only times I
have had recurring issues with saving changes was when I allowed RSE to
"Use cached information to restore the Remote Systems view". Can you
check this property? (Preferences > Remote Systems)

Subject: [WDSCI-L] RDp Saving Issues

Ever since I started on the RDp trial (fully updated), I've had random
issues with RDp telling me that, when I save, changes have been made to
the member in the meanwhile. Given that the member is locked, I'm not
sure what's going on. I always say to replace the remote member with my
pending changes.

Well, I just now had a new save issue appear. The last time I clicked
save on the (RPG) source, the source blinked and suddenly I'm at the top
of the code. When I scroll down to where my changes should be - they're
gone. I don't have Undo or Redo as an option. The source on the IBM i
matches the source that suddenly appeared in RDp. Sigh - work lost.

The first issue I mentioned is annoying. The latter is critical.

Has anyone had similar saving issues?

IBM i 6.1
RDp 7.6.0.1

Thanks,
