There is probably a way to override, but I never had to do it. We have a
change management tool, which we modified to run a command to do compiles
if the compile object is found in a file. However, I haven't had to do
that since version 6.1 of...well, the operating system of the system
formerly known as AS400 or iSeries. The EXTDESC file keyword in 6.1 makes
overriding, for compiling, something I haven't had to do in a while.
