I had this idea which had nothing to do with cobol so I started this new thread. Seasoned users of Rdi or dual monitor owners won' be impressed but I like it and I hope it will lead to me learning new stuff from other contributors.

Just went back to using the outline view again. I'd given up as my PC used to be a P4 at 1.6gHz with 600Mb. However, using the outline meant double clicking on the LPEX window to put it back to its original size in order to see the outline view. Then I discovered Fast view:

Click right on outline view tab and select fast view. Then maximise your LPEX window with a double-click. Each time you want the outline, just click the fast view.

A question : anyone ever gone to the trouble of writing the same code in SEU and RDi and comparing the time needed just to type?
