From the way I understand it, you HAVE to use the installation manager.
You can upgrade WDSC7 from within the IDE like you could with 6.0.

To clarify the pc's are 32-bit Win7 machines.

"I just found a link to the IBM zips for V7.0.0.8 here in the archives.
I'm downloading wdsc-7.0.0.8.zip and wdsc-7.0.0.8iFix1.zip now and will
try to install those. "

Maha Masri- I got these unzipped and had the user install them from within

WDSCi (bypassing installation manager entirely). It got to the point where

it says "Select Features to install" and we click the check box and it
says "657 of 657 selected" and then up pops a red x (error) followed by a
message that says "null(1.0.300.v200803111739) does not have a valid
license agreement".

Sigh....
