Bob,

Is your WDSCi installation current? If I remember right, there were fixes
that were necessary to make things work right with Vista that would also be
needed in Win 7. My machine that I upgraded from Vista to 7 works fine, but
I had WDSCi working on Vista first, before the Win 7 update. On Vista, I
never even tried it before I installed the 7.0.0.8 Interim Fix 001 level.

Start Installation Manager (requires Run as Administrator) and make sure
you're current. If you are, the next thing to check would probably be
firewall settings and that kind of thing. Are your PC and System i on the
same network, or are you going through VPN or something? I'm using Cisco
VPN with mine, which I had to scratch and reinstall after the Win 7 upgrade.

Hello,
My Windows 7 computer still refuses to connect to the
iSeries in RSE. I am running 7.0 and I have copied my profile from the old
machine to the new machine. The verify connection is also failing. Here
is the text:

An unknown error occurred connecting to S10503TM. Check if you have
connection to the host. If the connection is not broken, check that TCP/IP
is configured correctly on the local machine and all host servers are
started on S10503TM.

Does anyone have any ideas
