Today, we have either ADTS or RDi, and from that standpoint, it's a no-brainer.
More importantly, to my mind, is deciding whether you're going to go GUI or not. Since, as folks have pointed out, ADTS is "stabilized", you *will* be going to the GUI at some time if you continue forward on the i. (If not, this is a moot question, no?)

That being the case, do you pay to switch now (while there's a discount) or do you wait until later? Maybe there will be a discount, maybe there won't, maybe the switch will be free. I don't know. But if you don't switch, you pay for the loss of productivity every day and in my estimation that's a pretty good example of penny wise and pound foolish.

P.S. Note I'm not discussing WDSC. WDSC is dead. It's gone. Out of service as of next April. Use at your own risk. The only question for shops moving forward is ADTS or RDi, and as I've noted before, the Search featuer alone pays for the price of the tool. But that's just me.
