[WDSCI-L] Quick Tip: Jump to Line/Sequence Number

Hi All,

Not sure if this has been mentioned here before or not, but I just added
a new User Key Action that may interest some of you.

In Seu you could type a sequence number over the current one, and it
would jump to the types sequence number. This does not work in RDi when
I try it. So I looked for a way to jump to a know sequence number.

I found Alt-L which will prompt you for a line number, but that actually
counts physical lines in the member and takes you to the 201st line if
you type 201.

In User Key Actions I could LocateLine and LocateSequenceLine.
LocateLine is the same as the Alt-L mapping, but LocateSequenceLine lets
you key in a sequence number and jump straight to it. Very nice.

I mapped it to Ctrl-G (for Goto), and it sure beats paging down through
huge members when you know the sequence number already.

Have a nice weekend,
David
