currently i get more bang for the buck from WDSCi and i'm running at v6.1
with no issues. support IIRC for WDSC will end sometime around the GA
release of v7 of the OS. we most likely will be on WDSCi until we are
"forced" to downgrade...

Thanks,
Tommy Holden

I assume that you want to upgrade to Rdi for some reason. Maybe its
because WDSCi doesn't work "fine" in V6R1. Maybe there is a feature that
you're missing, that you want to get out of RDi. I would approach it that
way. You could also use the "unsupported" approach, if there are nagging
issues, that RDi might fix.

PM [WDSCI-L] justifying RDi when WDSCi

'still works'

The few of us who use WDSCi here are trying to convince management that we
should purchase a few licenses for RDi now that we've gone to V6R1. The
pushback we're getting is that WDSCi still works fine, so we need to
justify
spending the money. Has anyone else successfully done this, and if so,
what
approach did you use?

Thanks!
