Do I remember right? Default behavior in 2000 and up is NOT to show the accelerators with underlines? There is a setting for that, I think - yes. Right-click on desktop (or with mouse on desktop, hit that context-menu key!!0, click on Properties, then select the Appearance tab, then click on Effects - there is an option there.

I didn't know the right click method because L and E aren't indicated on my V6. L works but F for fill doesn't.

I like your method of using the LPEX command line, but there's a handy way to find out about these typing shortcuts for other menus too, in case it should come in handy. For less frequently used functions, it might not make sense to figure out and remember the LPEX command name.

If you use the "menu" key[1] to display the context menu, instead of right-clicking, it should underline the letters you can type to quickly select menu options, also known as accelerators. The accelerators may be different or non-existent for that menu in v6.

I'm pretty sure this is default Windows behaviour, and will notice it for drop-down menus (by pressing the Alt key instead) and context menus in other apps as well.

[1] Shift+F10 also works in some apps, including WDSC v7 and probably v6
