When you have made a selection, then right-click in the source
somewhere. You get a context menu - one of the items is Selected - the
"l" is underlined - so when you see that menu, just type "l" - you get a
flyout menu, and on there the item for fill - the bottom item - has the
"e" underlined - type "e" - then the cursor moves to the command line
below the source panel - type your fill string in there and press enter.

It takes a lot less time than this explanation!!! ;-))
