Al

When you have made a selection, then right-click in the source somewhere. You get a context menu - one of the items is Selected - the "l" is underlined - so when you see that menu, just type "l" - you get a flyout menu, and on there the item for fill - the bottom item - has the "e" underlined - type "e" - then the cursor moves to the command line below the source panel - type your fill string in there and press enter.

It takes a lot less time than this explanation!!! ;-))

I tried doing this and I did the Alt R and Alt R to select the rectangle. I right click inside the shaded rectangle and I get a drop down menu. Where do you put this 1 e //?

I would like to know how to do this and add a block of comment but this does not seem to work. Can you tell me what I am doing incorrectly.

Re: [WDSCI-L] Block Commenting in LPEX

Sorry, that should be right-click not left-click.

"in free form code:

Alt-R in a position in front of the code to be commented out
move over on column and down to the last line to be commented out
Alt-R to select the box
left click in the box
type l e //
hit enter
all the lines will be commented out."

When I click in the box and then typ l e // it just puts "l e //" and a
new line... what am I missing?

Thanks
