I want to thank everyone for their responses and I'm going to be working with some internal people to get this request kicked off for the developers. I will be using a consolidation of the reasons given here, along with some other resources, and present it to my management.

I have to 19" screens at work and only one at home. That's gong to
change because I've become completely spoiled using the dual-screen
