No, I have a laptop (Dell Latitude) with an external flatpanel thing,
and it is the external monitor I have pivoted. It was originally
prompted by my need to see a whole page at once in Adobe Illustrator,
and I found it to work so well with Eclipse I've kept it.
I wonder what the largest resolution on a display which can be pivoted
these days is? An Apple 30" would be nice on its side, but I don't
think it can be twisted.
Perhaps another of the kind I have and one of the Matrox "attach two or
three monitors to a single VGA/DVI connector" thingies might work well?
