It sounds like the user isn't connected to a remote system. It sounds
like they are actually working from a local file system instead. In fact
it sounds like they are putting all their files in some local WDSC file
directory.

I might be wrong, but this is what it sounds like.

Have you verified that the user is connected to the remote system?

[WDSCI-L] "Missing" Features in iSeries Projects






I've got one user in the class this week who does not have the option
to "Import remote objects" appear in the context menu of the project.
He can add members from the context menus in the RSE, and they appear
in the project - but that's it.

The other symptom is that the underlying XML files etc. in the project
show up in the list, and the RPG source member shows up just as a file
-t here is no QRPGLESRC entry created. In other words the files look
pretty much as they do in the RSE view of the local files in the
workspace.

Anyone seen this before or have any idea what causes it? User is
running WDSC 7.0 with latest fixes.
