Thanks Joe, Vern,

Fantastic! Thanks really much!
Glad we couild help. Well, I'm glad. Not so sure about Vern - he's kinda crotchety... <snicker>

I had forgotten to mention, I have WDSC 7.0 for the PC side. Server side
too I assume.
Technically the server side isn't tied to the client side. The same server code on the i (5722WDS option 60) handles WDSC and its replacements, RDi and RDi SOA. Remember, WDSC is deprecated, with support to end a little over 18 months (April of 2010). Get acquainted with WDSC, but remember that if you want to continue using that sort of tool, the new tool is RDi (or it's big brother, RDi SOA).

There's one more thing, under "Checking host callbacks", like so:

Checking host callbacks
---Check callback to RSE daemon
------Host PTF missing. The requested function is not available.
I believe this will be updated when you install PTFs. I'm pretty sure it's part of 5722WDS option 60.

Another thing too, doesn't WDSC provide a screen designer, and a print
file designer?
WDSC advanced edition had a technology preview of the screen designer. RDi has a more complete version, but it's still officially a technology preview, not ready for production. Neither product has a print designer.
