Hi Alan! Welcome to the world of WDSC! Better late than never <grin>.

Okay, to start with, go into WDSC into Remote Systems Explorer. Under your connection you should see an element called "Objects". Right click on that puppy and select the Verify Connection... option. That will fire up a dialog that will tell you more than you ever wanted to know about the connection, including all the PTFs it needs.

Once you've done that, the next step is to get the PTFs, but that's a different subject, and you can probably find a lot more information for on the regular midrange-l list.
