Re: [WDSCI-L] Remote Systems Object List Question

I am not sure if I am using the right language to describe the view

but on the RSE perspective there is the Remote Systems view. In here I

would
like the see the description in parenthesis right after the source name
so I
can visually see what the program is for.

What you are asking for is called a 'Label Decorator' in Eclipse terms ...
and, as far as I know, there is now way to do that currently.

Keep in mind that the RSE tree is not (generally) intended to be very wide
... so having such a long decorator on the entries in the tree might be
awkward.

That said ... there is no real reason that such a decorator could not be
added to the RSE as a plug-in (I think). I would have to dig into it a
bit to know for sure.
