Only if you have the IBM site as a repository.
Since our firewall interferes with the installation manager checking for updates, I have always downloaded the zip files and added a repository for our network folder where I extract the zip file to.
Can't seem to do that with this zip file.
Any other ideas?

thanks,

Dave B

Close down WDSc. Open IBM Installation Manager. Choose Updates. It
will download and install.

What does it mean when you say "apply the iFix directly? I downloaded
the zip file, extracted it to a directory and am tring to add a
repository. Is this the correct sequence? If so where is the
repository.CFG?

If not, how?

Thanks,

Unfortunately, you have to apply the iFix directly. The Packaging Utility
doesn't work. Since the iFix is only 2.8 M, hope it's not a big problem.

Thanks.

Re: [WDSCI-L] WDSC V7.0.0.6 iFix001 available

Thanks for the notice! I downloaded the zip package, but when I tried to
roll this update into my local repository, the IBM Packaging Utility
failed to complete successfully. Is there something I need to do for
this?

Thanks,
Eric DeLong

You can install iFix001 by clicking Update Packages in IBM Installation
Manager. If V7.0.0.6 update
is already installed, only iFix001 will be installed. Otherwise both of
them will be installed.

This interim fix addresses the problem as described in APAR SE32901
(Running a User Action on
an object or member in the RSE tree view fails with the error dialog
RSEG1003U).

If you prefer to download the fix zip file, the addresses are:
