Thanks to all who made suggestions. The copying of the
RemoteSystemsConnection folder did the trick, I'm back in business. It's a
bit disappointing though, that so many of you have workarounds for when this
application fails.

Is there a way to delete the original corrupted workspace cleanly?

Thanks, Tim

Ok guys, so what do you do when you DO have a problem? Right now I have
to
side with Mark. My workspace it down, I have a fair amount of time

resolve. So let's say I start over, is this going to happen again? My
enthusiasm is a bit clouded.

In your workspace is a folder called RemoteSystemsConnections. That
folder holds your RSE-related configuration files. Before I upgrade
(say from 7.0.0.4 to 7.0.0.6) I make a copy of the complete workspace
directory tree. Should I have a problem, I copy it back.

In your case, I'd try copying the RemoteSystemsConnections folder to
your new workspace and see how it goes. Do remember to exit WDSC first!
