Tim,

Check this entry in the wiki:

It addresses exactly what you want. One caveat, you can end up copying in
some problems. I use the documented technique regularly to set up new
machines, handle configurations for coworkers, etc. Personally, I've only
had to set up a new workspace one or two times in the last several years.
The product has been very stable for me since version 7 came out--version
6 wasn't too bad either. Version 7 has put it over the top--even installs
are much easier. I went ahead and reinstalled my entire setup because I
wanted to handle the program directory structure easier. But I kept my
old workspace.

Re: [WDSCI-L] WDSC won't start up...

Ok guys, so what do you do when you DO have a problem? Right now I have
to
side with Mark. My workspace it down, I have a fair amount of time
invested
in getting it configured, and even more at this point in attempting to
resolve. So let's say I start over, is this going to happen again? My
enthusiasm is a bit clouded.

If I start a second workspace(WS), is there a way to copy the
configuration
from another WS (my original)? Any other suggestions out there...

Thanks, Tim
