The Wiki link said that Fedora has released Liberation Mono with a slashed zero. I could find Liberation Mono at Redhat, but it didn't have the slashed zero. Does the one you are using have a slashed zero?

I'm currently using Lucida Mono, which I like, except that zero looks awfully like oh, but, it doesn't bite me very often.

I should mention for those interested, the ProggyClean font can be found
here: http://www.proggyfonts.com/index.php?menu=download. I like them
for the bolder brackets and parentheses'.

The best fonts I have found for Eclipse under Windows XP (Laptop with
ClearType) have been the Liberation Mono font
(http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Liberation_fonts). and the Consolas font
(http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/details.aspx?familyid=22e69ae4-7e40-4807-8a86-b3d36fab68d3&displaylang=en),
with the Liberation font coming out slightly ahead.

"Best" for me, is a matter of readability. Just a suggestion :)
