I would skip CVS entirely if you can and instead head down the path of
Subversion (http://subversion.tigris.org/) which also has an easy to install
eclipse plugin (http://subclipse.tigris.org/).

Subject: [WDSCI-L] Team/Sharing with CVS (Concurrent Versions System)

Having problems trying to download CVS, "Help" sends me to
http://ximbiot.com/cvs/. Has anyone tried to download from this site? Or
is there another way to get CVS?

Thanks for any advise!!
